This was a simple rebranding project for a local tradesman's startup business.


After he completed my pre-made questionnaire (which I use with all clients to get an on paper idea of their needs), his intentions with the brand were clear.


Values: Precision, approachability and trust.


Goals: Professionalism, to stand out above competition with clean and modern visuals.



Rebranding Begins with Clarity


Following a conversation with a web designer about improving visibility and SEO, it was strongly recommended that we change the business name.


We discovered that another company with the exact same name - Star Maintenance - had been operating locally since 1997, overlapping my client’s service area. Given that my client’s business only launched four years prior, continuing under the same name risked confusion, misdirected enquiries, and unintentionally marketing a competitor.


To avoid that, we began exploring new names and a fresh brand identity that would stand out in the area and support long-term growth - both online and on-site.
